New-In | Winter Wardrobe Staples from Holland Cooper
Inspired by the recent snowfall here in Virginia, combined with a little too much free time spent sipping tea and shopping online, led to me finally purchasing a few items that have been on my recent wish list from Holland Cooper. Hello, everyone! Apologies for the silence on this blog over this past week… it was my husband’s birthday, and we spent several days exploring and celebrating across the beautiful countryside of Virginia. Over the past week, we explored Charlottesville and much of Virginia’s beautiful wine and hunt country where we got to soak in the beautiful views, enjoy the early signs of spring, and sip on the delicious wines in the region.

Spending an afternoon in Manassas and Leesburg, Virginia, plus a visit to Fleetwood Farm Winery and the Manassas Battlefield National Park.
Outfit of the Day | 03 January 2023
We recently had a mini staycation at the lovely Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C., and I figured it provided the perfect backdrop for an ‘outfit of the day’ post. The moody grey skies provided the perfect lighting.
During our stay, we enjoyed a couple of cocktails at Peacock Alley in the Waldorf Astoria, followed by an incredible Italian dinner at Ristorante Tosca (I highly recommend the branzino ), and a tour of the Old Post Office and Clock Tower which provided a stunning view of the city that rivals the Washington monument.
