Closing the Chapter on 2023
As we bid farewell to 2023, it's a moment of reflection and gratitude for the incredible journey this year has been. Professionally, it's been a year of milestones and accomplishments that I couldn't have envisioned at the start. From achieving significant career goals in my 9-to-5 to navigating challenges and time management with resilience, each experience has been a stepping stone to personal and professional growth. Equally thrilling has been the completion of a major renovation project at home, transforming spaces and creating a haven that reflects my style and personality. I can’t wait to begin sharing more home content and the cozy corners of our perfectly hunt country chic home. The joy of wrapping up this endeavor is immeasurable, and it adds a beautiful chapter to my story of 2023.
On the digital front, this blog has been a canvas for sharing my experiences, insights and interests, and lessons learned throughout the year. It's heartening to witness the community around it grow, both here and on Instagram. Hunt Country Chic has become a space not just for personal expression but for building connections, and I am grateful for the encouragement and feedback received from you all since I started this journey in 2022.
Looking ahead to 2024, I am so excited for what’s in store for Hunt Country Chic. My plans include exploring the charm of more local wineries, savoring delightful meals at new and favorite restaurants, and discovering the unique offerings of local businesses from Charlottesville to Middleburg. The scenic beauty and cultural richness of Virginia's hunt country and charming towns are on the itinerary, promising a tapestry of experiences to share here. And, speaking of sharing, there's the prospect of a return to YouTube, where I can provide a more immersive experience into my life and interests (as noted above though, I’m still working on time management between my 9-to-5 and this platform). As we turn the page on 2023, the future is filled with anticipation, and I can't wait to share the upcoming adventures on the blog and Instagram.
