An Afternoon at Effingham Manor and Winery
In vino, veritas!
There are few things I enjoy more than spending an afternoon at a winery with my fiancé, pups, and a picnic of yummy snacks. Top that off with a fabulous sparkling wine, historic location, and beautiful country scenery, and you have nailed my definition of perfection!
Effingham Manor and Winery in the quiet town of Nokesville, Virginia, provides just about all of these things (unfortunately we can’t bring our poodles with us to this winery, but sometimes our dogs also need a break from us, right?). Effingham is a history rich, peaceful, and adults-only winery, making it the perfect spot to unwind and relax after a busy day or work week. While all of Effingham’s wines are fantastic, my favorite is definitely the NV Sparkling Wine.
